Francisco Padua was born and raised in Mexico City, and moved to Texas in 1989 following a fast-moving career in investment banking. Since then, Houston, Texas has become home to Francisco, his family, and to his business. Francisco holds a BA in business administration from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a post graduate degree in Marketing and Finance from Stanford University. He has completed the “Chief Executive Officer” MBA course at IPADE in Mexico City—an international program tied to, and involving professors and case study materials from Harvard Business School. Francisco Padua was a professor at the UNAM for six years (1969-1978), teaching various courses in Finance and Marketing for Graduate students, and also lectured at the Instituto Tecnológico de Mexico (ITAM) for two years, in the fields of entrepreneurship and finance.
Currently, Francisco Padua serves as president of INPAC, Inc., an investment banking firm focused on planning, organization, and implementation of investment programs, mainly in real estate, for his own capital account and a mix of US and Latin American investors. Francisco is also president of the Texas-based firm INMOBILIA 2000, LLC which he co-founded in 1999 with the purpose of developing residential and commercial projects in Texas and Mexico. INMOBILIA 2000, LLC has executed multiple developments within the last 12 years, including land and affordable housing development, income property acquisition, project management and special purpose commercial project repositioning.
Specifically, Francisco Padua, through his various companies, has had extensive experience in investing, developing, managing, and selling housing and retail properties in the Woodlands and Conroe, Texas areas over the last 20 years. These projects have ranged from retail and office centers in the Woodlands, Texas to resort styles houses and condominiums on Walden in Lake Conroe, Texas, and finally to the Woodhaven forest mixed community which will ultimately blend single family, medical and senior housing elements.
Francisco Padua has contributed (1978-1990) with several business and financial articles to well-known periodicals such as El Financiero, Finanzas-IMEF and Barron’s.
